Ian Coburn - "The Road Warrior"
I performed my first comedy set on open mic night at Wacko's Comedy Club in Berwyn, Illinois, in 1990. It was the summer before I started college. My sister was a waitress at the club and suggested I try it, given I was "funnier than most of the acts." My first joke bombed, I ad libbed a response, the crowd went nuts, and I was hooked. In the next 12 years, I worked nearly every club, and countless other venues, in the U.S. and Canada, headlining by age 23. Other comedians nicknamed me "The Road Warrior." I still hold the entertainment industry records of 106 and 96 straight weeks on the road.

After tiring of the road and shunning both acting and living in L.A., I got into sales and quickly ran my own sales training business. But one thing didn't change... I never stopped writing. Now, in my 50's with a totally different lifestyle, and in a very different world than the 90's, it's time to share the material, as well as stories from my days on the road. I hope you enjoy hearing it all, as much as I enjoy sharing it.
